About Us

I come from a small town in the north west of Victoria.  As a young girl I spent my time playing in the sunshine and driving tractors around our property and climbing trees.

We lived next door to my grandparents and had uncles, aunts and cousins all around us.  Life was great living in the country.

I watched my mum and grandmother sew from an early age and was always anxious to sew something. My earliest memories are of sitting with my grandmother and mum and wanting to help them make a dress for me. As a girl, I spent many happy hours hand sewing clothes for my dolls, knitting and crocheting and doing embroidery.  My love of sewing comes from the early influence of my mother and grandmother, who were my first teachers. 

Living life on the Peninsula is great and I now teach others to create and I find joy in using my creativity to make beautiful things.  Teaching machine embroidery is now my passion and seeing your students create a project on their embroidery machine and go home with a finished project is most rewarding.

I'm inspired everyday and love making beautiful designs and projects.   I love colorful fabrics, aprons, buttons, embroidery, old dishes, gingham and polka dots, and all things vintage.
